Material use :

Solvent for resin, lacquers and thinner. Raw material for used in the chemical industry such as pharmaceuticals, adhesives. Applications for Methyl Ethyl Ketone include lubricating oil dewaxing, the preparation of solvent dispersed adhesives and the manufacture of insecticides, artificial leather, and industrial cleaning compounds, printing inks used on cellulose derivatives, wood treatment, laminates and magnetic tapes. Methyl Ethyl Ketone forms the main component in universal lacquer thinner formulations for e.g. spray applications. Methyl Ethyl Ketone also finds extensive use as an extracting agent and as a versatile chemical
intermediate.
